What’s gone wrong with our world?

That’s a good question! It seems that the minds of so many, are totally confused. What a pity! I am attempting to bring things into perspective. Just hear me out! Thanks!

LEST WE FORGET the atrocities committed on September 11, 2001, it’s imperative that we be reminded of the thousands of those who lost their lives, as a result of such unprovoked incidents. WAR WAS DECLARED against the United States of America! Surely, we were stultified, and sadly impacted. If it were possible to get the terrorists who did this, our bleeding hearts would have been somewhat healed. Unfortunately, the culprits died in the crashes. But the master- minds behind such grotesque acts, fiercely confronted us. Immediately, massive efforts, both at home and abroad, were launched to find the architects behind such criminal acts of violence.

Friends of the USA, from all over the world, began pouring in their sympathies and condolences. Over three thousand people were massacred. The question is: Should America have remained indifferent to these hard- core intentional acts of Terrorism? Or should they have gone after them? The world concurred that the latter was inevitable.

They went after many of them, and in their quest to bring them to justice, they have discovered, that Saddam Hussein was one of the henchmen behind the attempts to annihilate the United States of America. He was found to be deeply engaged in AL QUAEDA movement, set up by Osama Bin Laden

Without hesitation, the United States began relentlessly, to address the matter of finding the terrorists. The focus upon Saddam Hussein, became an urgent matter. Through surveilance, and other means of Intelligence, it was unmistakably revealed, that Saddam Hussein was one of the perpetrators behind 9-11, 2001.

AND NOW, THE PUZZLE! The Security Council of the United Nations voted unanimously, in November, last year (2002), to adopt RESOLUTION 1441, to disarm Saddam of the threat of Weapons of Mass Destruction. Gallant efforts were made peacefully, and diplomatically, through repeated requests, for him to step down, surrender or to go into exile, but all to no avail. And then, as the pressure began to build up, three leading members of the U.N. began a political manoeuver to stop or to abrogate the decision made in November. How befuddling!

The Security Council did approve action by the United States and its Coalition, but failed to honour the Resolution 1441. Another victory for Saddam and his insidious tactics! A man, who is known for his murderous acts – killing thousands of his own people, and ruling his country with such despotism, must be allowed by the Security Council to get away with it! What a shame, and dereliction of duty!

After relentless efforts on the part of the USA, Saddam in his usual belligerent manner, flouted every moral and ethical principle, by flagrantly ignoring the request to go into exile, in order to avoid a war.

And the inevitable resulted – WAR in response! Reason, truth and respect for human lives, quickly evaporated. Consequently, the only alternative was force, to rid his country of its ruthless leadership, in order to create a new Government that would ensure democracy for a people under a tyrannical rule.

And the rest is history. ANTI-WAR MARCHES, PROTESTORS AND DEMONSTRATORS both in the USA (where 9/11 took place), and across the world, began their irrational campaigns against the war.

The Word of God did foretell of this, and more, that would deluge our world..

HEAR THE WORD OF GOD:”Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil, who put darkness for light, and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight,” Isaiah 5:20-22. WAKE UP!
