Francis Muttoo's Biography
Rev. Dr. F.X.Muttoo was born in Guyana(British Guiana), in 1925, He received his early education – Primary and Secondary in New Amsterdam and Georgetown. He attended MODERN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE, under the Principalship of Mr. J.I.Ramphal.
His Career Pursuits: He began training as a Chemist and Druggist, but was called to the Ministry in 1945. He was married to Mabel Drepaul, from Philippi, Corentyne, Berbice, in 1948.. He worked for many years – serving parishes in the Corentyne , West Coast Berbice, East Coast Demerara, Georgetown. He left for the United States in 1955 to pursue Higher Education. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Oklahoma, and his Masters degree in Winnipeg, Manitoba. At age 50, he obtained his Doctorate in Toronto.
Dr. Muttoo has had a diversified experience in the ministry. He is an ordained Lutheran minister. He served in Trinidad for many years. Dr. Muttoo considers his ministry in Trinidad, as very exciting and challenging. He served in many areas of administration – including being Secretary of the School Board. This afforded him the pleasure of meeting with all the teachers of the Presbyterian Church in Trinidad. Trinidad was his most enjoyable service for the Lord.
One of his interests has been LAW. He attended Law School in England for four months, but was asked to leave because he was an ordained minister.
He and his family – wife and six children, came to Canada in 1965. He served in Neepawa, Manitoba; Assiniboia, Sask; and Winnipeg, Manitoba. He also served in Buffalo, New York. For two years, he ministered also in the Bahamas. He is a Charismatic Minister who devotes himself to the Preaching of the WORD.

He loves GOLFING, and telling JOKES.
He is still very active in Preaching, Teaching, and Counseling.
